It helps to have a Lionel

Another year another gala. Here are pics of Candice's latest opus, starring sir Lionel Richie.

So many people helped pull this baby off. A huge thanks to the friends and family that volunteered and flew in to help. Unfortunately, we only have a few pics of your beautiful selves. We know who you are and we won't forget it. Many thanks.

This year it was all about the orb.

For a solid 70 minutes, the Lionel espoused the virtues of open shirts, gold chains and dancin' on the ceiling.

Lionel looks great, period.

Who wants a special Lionel high five? I do, that's who.

It was cool to see Candice back him up during a special acoustic rendition of "Say you say me."

Lionel is happiest when he's doing his thang and we all know it.

We brought our "A" games that night.
