Weekend Frivolities

It's hard to believe that we're already into November and well into it at that. Time Flies when you're having fun I guess. Unfortunately, Sunday nights are often pretty morose, but I suppose it's always difficult to get back to the work week when you've had such a killer weekend!

Thursday night Matt, Doris, and I drove to CO Springs for the So You Think You Can Dance tour. Doris had given me the tickets for my birthday, and finally time to redeem them came. It was awesome! Friday night was another awesome birthday gift redemption, Matt, Greg, Joni, and I had a most stellar dinner at Vesta Dipping Grill - loved it. Saturday consisted of a jaunt to Boulder to enjoy the beautiful weather, window shopping, people watching, etc... and some hiking in Estes Park. That night we went to an Indian Cooking Class that Doris had purchased at the Denver Health Foundation Gala. The food and company were all fabulous!! After which, Matt and I went to a modernism exhibit at the Vance Kirkland museum (open late and free for arts week, along with many other museums). Great weekend overall, and hopefully we're rejuvenated for the work week.
Okay okay, I just wanted to show off the Cheshire Cat jack O'lantern I carved. It was actually done two or so weeks ago.

Beautiful!

I wanted to post a picture of Kratos the God of War so that y'all could see who Matt was supposed to be for Halloween. It's from a video game.
