The wind howled, the black cats roamed, the vampires stalked, and we had a "killer" time! Halloween came (and went) this weekend. Ginger, Matt and I saw a play of Dark Tales at the Victorian Theatre - after giving candy out to the kiddies. It's this cool little community theatre and their performance was done like it was a radio show. We saw "Sorry, wrong number", "The Hitchhiker", and a version of the original radio program "War of the Worlds". All the while we were dressed as zombies (we got ready in about 15 minutes).
Then, we went to Parallel 17, a delicious Vietnamese restaurant that had a DJ and were giving out costume prizes. Their entire staff was dressed like carnies, actually it was more cirque du soleil. We came home after that and attempted to watch Dawn of the Dead, being unimpressed we fell asleep. Until next year...woohaahaahaa!

You guys look great--and creepy! :)
You guys had a busy night and totally creep me out! I love it!
Which "Dawn of the Dead" did you watch, the remake or the original?
Glad that you had a great Halloween. How come Ginger didn't dress up?

Creepy...very creepy...and yet so fun. When are you coming back to the homeland for a visit? We need to get together...been too long.
You two are the master Halloweensters! It looked like great fun. We are so excited to see you for Thanksgiving. We already have an art museum we want to attend. The Springville art museum has a Utah children's book illustrator exhibit until Dec. We'll have to take it in!!
See you soon!
Love,
Mom
I love your costumes... classic!
Chester, we watched the original DOTD, have you seen it? Part of our dislike probably occured due to the fact the we watched it in the wee hours of the morning and kept falling asleep. Romero, did a fantastic job with NOTLD but the costumes and make up were a little campy in this zombie flick. I'll give it another try next year.
Awesome costumes! Glad to hear that you had some excitement at the haunted hotel. We expected Matt to cut down a door with an axe and yell,"Here's Jonny!" How did the event go in early October Candice? The lizard make-up job was stellar and Matt's was good, but we still think we should have been Bette Midler for Halloween... maybe next year... better yet the golden girls need to make an appearance.
