When it gets hot, turn on the AC

Everyone has bad days. Horrible drivers, incompetent dry cleaning ladies, and obnoxious squat rack guy, all make life less bearable. But when I really need relief from life's toils, I know it's time to get my Slayer on. For those of you who don't know, Slayer is a pioneering thrash metal band known for their zany lyrics and good natured songs that cover timeless themes such as serial killers, genocide and everyone's favorite-insanity.


Conversely, on the brighter side of the entertainment spectrum, existed a show that epitomized both cheese and optimism. Even when I was in third grade, I remember thinking that this Saved by the Bell show was over-the-top in its bright, campy humor and outlook.

So when I discovered that some freak of nature genius, some over achiever, some type of cultural revolutionary had had the foresight and skill to meld the two forces of good and evil together like some type of warm cuddly blanket that you just want to pull over your head and submerse yourself in your hours, I almost lost it, and you will too.
